Information for Chairs
The role of the session chair is to make sure that the session proceeds in a timely and organized fashion. Please come to session 10 minutes in advance to meet the presenters and make sure there are no technical glitches.
The time allotted to paper presenters is 22-25 minutes, with 5-8 minutes devoted to discussion. Please make sure that each presenter stays within allotted time (do not hesitate to interrupt) and that each presentation + discussion do not exceed 30 minutes.
The chair should direct the discussion by keeping track of the order of questions.
We will provide signs to signal to the presenters how much time is left.
